On September 30, we will be commemorating Canada's national day for truth and reconciliation. This is a day to learn and remember Canada's past history, especially relating to the tragic history of Canada's residential schools.

You are also invited to join us on September 30 at 5 PM for a group bicycle ride with our friend and Indigenous storyteller, Adrian Alphonsus. This will be a family-paced ride where we will enjoy being outside together and hearing stories to help us learn from our history.

Funds raised will go to support the work of Manitoba Aboriginal Sports and Recreation Council Inc. in Empowering Indigenous Communities Through Sport & Recreation. www.mascr.com

The ride starts at 5 PM at Bourkevale Community Center, 100 Ferry Rd.
