The middle position is neutral. In addition, a new headset flip chip provides 10mm of reach adjustment. Rear wheel options All models come with 29-inch front and rear wheels, but the flip chip lets you opt for a mixed wheel setup including a 27.5 rear. The stock setup optimizes stability and roll-over speed, while a 27.5 rear wheel delivers a snappier feel and more saddle-to-tire clearance. Some riders favor this “mullet” setup for riding steep, technical terrain.
