Cool new stuff we've

recently started carrying:

Olympia Cycle & Ski is proud to now be an official retailer for Specialized bicycles!

At Olympia Cycle & Ski we are constantly assessing the market and making sure we have the best, most innovative bikes, and also look for what will provide the best value to our customers, not to mention which bikes will be the most fun to ride.  We proudly carry a wide range of great brands of bicycles, and now we are happy to say that our range includes Specialized.

For decades Specialized has been making some of the best bikes in the business.  Their Stumpjumper and Hardrock mountain bikes have been hitting the trails for 25 years (yes, you read right - they've been carving up the dirt for longer than many of their riders have been alive).  But, as the Specialized motto says, even with that kind of rich history they feel the need to continue to "Innovate or Die". That's why they've come out with products like the Brain, technology that allows the rear dual suspension mountain bike shock to react to terrain input (bumps) but not rider input (pedaling).

Specialized also equips many of their road bikes with their patented Zertz.  Found in the forks, handlebars, seatstays, and seatpost, Zertz absorb road vibration thereby reducing rider fatigue.  Just another one of many cool ways for Specialized to prove that they remain one of the best in the business.  Come in to the shop and check out their many, varied bikes as we begin to stock them over the winter and into spring, ready for the '07 riding season!

 Scott USA bikes
Scott USA has an impressive history in the new world order of cycling. In 1989 Scott introduced the first aerodynamic handlebar, and the world watched as Greg Lemond used it to dramatically propel himself to overall victory in the 1989 Tour de France.

Scott introduced its first full suspension mountain bike way back in 1992 (almost 15 years ago)!

And just last year Scott created the lightest triathlon bike on the market.

Click on the Scott logo above to look at their full product line, or visit us to learn more and check out what we have in stock.

 Redline bikes
In addition to building popular BMX and freestyle bikes Redline offers some of the best deals in cyclocross and singlespeed bikes.

If you're looking to try out the local fall cyclocross series or want to try ripping it up with just one gear, if you're a commuter looking for a sensible and reliable bike to get you to work and back, or if you want to try something just a little different than the average road or mountain bike, Redline is a good bet.

Bring out that bad attitude we all know is lurking inside, start thinking about your next tattoo now, and go for a cyclocross or singlespeed ride today! Click on the logo above to check Redline out or come on into the store and talk it up with one of our cyclocross/singlespeed shop maniacs.
