Lindsay
Gauld, founder of Olympia Cycle & Ski, and his wife Lynne are enjoying an
active semi-retirement interspersed with local and exotic travel plans and
activities. One of their favourite destinations is their vacation
property on the slopes of Silver Star mountain (near Vernon) BC.
Located on The Knoll of Silver Star Mountain the Silver Queen Quad
Chairlift is just a short walk away, and the charming, Victorian inspired
Silver Star village offers convenient ski-in, ski-out access to boutique
retail shops, restaurants and cafés. In summer months the mountain
slopes are transformed into a world-class mountain biking venue enjoyed by
locals and pleasure-seekers from far away.
In
addition to the Silver Star resort vacation property (above) that Lindsay
and Lynne Gauld make available to travellers they also host a bed &
breakfast in their elegant turn of last century home in the historic
residential area of Crescentwood, surrounded by Winnipeg's famous, stately
old elms.
